Data-driven kinetic rhythmographic instrument that simulates an organic rhythm representing liveliness in atmospheric and organismic environments at the macroscopic and microscopic scales. Achieving a fluid quality to the motion and an order of behaviour to the elemental units of the sculpture were key tenants of the design.

The mechanism is designed with an organic form that is rhythmically fluid when controlled at one control point for a chain of motion across the elemental units. An incremented angular system following the central axis allowed for this to be achieved

The mechanism is designed with an organic form that is rhythmically fluid when controlled at one control point for a chain of motion across the elemental units. An incremented angular system following the central axis allowed for this to be achieved.

A grid-eye sensor was used to track the motion and the density of people within the room which affects the speed and orientation of the instrument as well as the behaviour of the lights incorporated within the base resulting in a change of environment.
